Noosa: Spanish mackerel and spotty mackerel from Chardon’s reef. Yellow fin tuna from Sunshine reef. Mangrove jacks, trevally and the odd barramundi in Woods bay and between the lakes on lures and live bait. Big tailor, bream and flathead around the mouth on live bait. Whiting, dart and tailor from Teewah and Noosa North shore.

Maroochydore: Grass Sweetlip and Maori cod around the blinker. Spangled emperor, coral trout and Spanish mackerel to 10kg from Murphy’s reef. Bream and whiting from Twin Waters. Trevally, tailor and jew from the Cod Hole on high tide.  Mud crabs in the upper reaches to 1.8kg.

Kawana: Red throat, part and gold spot wrasse on the Barwon Banks and Dolphin have been caught east of the Banks. Bream, tarwhine and whiting along Kawana beach. Trevally from Kawana boat ramp and the rock walls. Mud crabs in the canals and upper reaches.

Caloundra: Dart, whiting and the odd tailor from Moffat beach and Happy Valley. Whiting and bream in the gutters around Currimundi lake. Flathead from just inside the bar on lures. Whiting on live worms from the Power boat club. Bream and golden trevally from the boardwalk.

Debra Brennan from Holt Marine was fishing the Cod Hole with soft plastics and caught these flathead up to 65cm.
