Maroochydore: Good numbers of quality grunter to 35cm in Petrie Creek and Bli Bli bridge area. Flathead and whiting around Goat Island on the making tide. Trevally in the canals and cod hole. Mud crabs in the upper reaches.
Kawana: Flathead and whiting around the sand basin on high tide. Tailor and golden trevally from the rock walls. Grunter and yellow fin bream around McKenzie bridge. Mud crabs in the canals.
Caloundra: Mangrove Jacks and Mud crabs from Currimundi Lake. Bream to 600g from Military Jetty. Queenfish, trevally and tarpon in the canals. Trevally off the boardwalk.
Flynn and Jason Ellem were fishing with mullet from a boat in the cod hole over night when they caught this 1.7kg mangrove jack.
