Noosa: Coral trout, Spanish mackerel, yellow tail and long tail tuna from Sunshine reef and the Jew shoal. Barramundi, mangrove jacks and plenty of tarpon in the upper reaches around the lakes. Trevally, tailor and tarpon in Woods bay using surface lures. Mangrove jacks and a few bream around the Sheraton bridge.
Maroochydore: The odd Grassy sweetlip and bream from the mouth during the early mornings. Trevally, whiting and dart in the gutters along Mudjimba beach. Flathead and whiting around Goat Island. Mangrove jack from Coolum creek on live herring. Trevally and quality size bream from the Cod hole.
Kawana: Yellowtail kingfish and cobia around the Blinker on vertical jigs and live bait. Golden and silver trevally from Kawana waters. Tailor, bream and sweetlip from Point Cartwright during dawn and dusk. Dart, whiting and tarwhine from Kawana beach.
Caloundra: Spanish and spotty mackerel on Currimundi reef and the 5 mile .A few good size whiting from the mouth on the incoming tide. Bream, flathead and golden trevally from the board walk on live herring. Jewfish and trevally in the upper reaches on soft plastics.

Michael Wilkinson from Maroochy RSL Fishing Club landed this 3kg parrot fish while fishing from Murphy’s reef.
