Noosa: Good numbers of coral trout, Spanish mackerel, yellow tail and long tail tuna from Sunshine reef. Barramundi in the upper reaches around the lakes with a few mangrove jacks. Trevally and tailor to 3.5kg in Woods bay on dusk. Plenty of tarpon and mangrove jacks around the Sheraton bridge.
Maroochydore: Sweetlip and long tail tuna from the Inner Gneerings. Trevally and bream in the gutters along Mudjimba beach. Flathead and whiting around Goat Island. Mangrove jack from Coolum creek. Grunter bream to 850g in Eudlo Creek. Bream to 750g in the cod hole.
Kawana: Yellowtail kingfish and cobia around the Blinker on vertical jigs and live bait. Golden and silver trevally from Kawana waters. Tailor around 1.5kg and big bream from Point Cartwright. Dart, whiting and tarwhine from Kawana beach.
Caloundra: Spanish and spotty mackerel on Currimundi reef and the 5 mile. Dart and whiting from Kings beach. Bream, flathead and golden trevally up to 3kg from the board walk on live herring. Jewfish and trevally in the upper reaches on soft plastics.
