Noosa: Mackerel, long tail tuna, coral trout and the odd Wahoo from Sunshine reef, North reef and the Jew shoal. Trevally and flathead from the lower reaches. Good catches of Mangrove Jacks from Woods Bay and the lakes. Bream and a few whiting from Munna point.

Maroochydore: Maori cod and moses perch east of Old Woman Island. Grunter bream in the upper reaches. Flathead and bream from Picnic point through to the mouth. A few whiting from the Black banks on the high tide. Mud crabs in the upper reaches.

Kawana: Bream to 800g and small grass sweetlip from the rock walls. Mangrove jacks from Kawana waters lock. Dart, whiting and tarwhine from Kawana beach. Mud crabs in the canals.

Caloundra: Spanish and spotty mackerel on Currimundi reef and the 5 mile. A few whiting on nippers in the lower reaches. Bream, trevally and the odd tailor from the boardwalk on dawn and dusk. Tarpon and trevally in the canals on plastics. Mud crabs in the upper reaches.
