Noosa: Spanish mackerel and coral trout from jew shoal and Sunshine Reef. Jacks, trevally and flathead on trolled lures in Woods Bay. Whiting on the banks around the Frying Pan and along Tewantin reach. Good numbers of bream form the mouth during the incoming tide.
Maroochydore: Grunter bream up Petrie Creek and Bli Bli reach. Large numbers of bream up to 38cm from the Cane bridge. Trevally at the Cod hole on the top of the tide. Whiting to 35cm from Picnic Point early morning. Good numbers of mud crabs around Coolum creek.
Kawana: Mosses perch, snapper a spangled emperor from Murphy’s reef. Dart and trevally out from Kawana Surf Club. Mangrove Jack from the upper reaches, the canals and Mountain Creek. Bream and trevally on the high tide around the boat moorings and along La Balsa park.
Caloundra: Snapper and a few sweetlip from Caloundra 12 and 5 mile. Whiting and Mangrove Jack have in Coochin creek. A few grunter bream in the upper reaches of the creeks. Bream, queenfish and flathead from the Boardwalk. Grass sweetlip from Kings Beach off the rocks.

Neville Telford was fishing the Hards when he hooked up to this 4.7kg Pearl Perch.
