Noosa: Spanish mackerel and coral trout from jew shoal and Sunshine Reef. Jacks and trevally on trolled lures in Woods Bay. Whiting on the banks around the Frying Pan and along Tewantin reach. Jacks and flathead in Weyba creek.

Maroochydore: Spanish mackerel to 20 kilos from Coolum and Murphy’s Reefs.  Grunter bream up Petrie Creek and Bli Bli reach. Whiting to 35cm from Picnic Point early morning. Mud crabs from above Bli Bli bridge.

Kawana: Cobia from the Gneerings, cod and mackerel from Caloundra 12 mile. Dart and trevally out from Kawana Surf Club. Mangrove Jack from the upper reaches, the canals and Mountain Creek. Bream and trevally on the high tide around the boat moorings and along La Balsa park.

Caloundra: Dart along Currimundi beach. Whiting and Mangrove Jack have in Coochin creek. Bream, queenfish and flathead from the Boardwalk. A mangrove jack and several grass sweetlip from Kings Beach off the rocks.

Mountain Creek High School International Students Ai Yamada and Mona Wiessner were fishing with their host family from Muller Park on Sunday when they caught several grunter bream to 34cm.
