Noosa: Plenty of dart and whiting in the gutters along Teewah. Elbow slapper on the sand flats around the river mouth. Mangrove jack and trevally between the lakes. Whiting at dawn and dusk in the river mouth, Noosaville reach and Munna Point. Trevally to 3kg, mainly on live bait in Woods Bay. Flathead between the river mouth and Munna Point.
Maroochydore: Tarwhine to 38cm, bream, flathead and chopper tailor in the cod hole. Quality whiting to 600g on the bottom of the tide along the bli bli stretch yesterday morning. Smaller whiting averaging 28cm opposite Chambers Island. School jew and giant trevally on live bait in the middle reaches around high tide.
Mooloolaba: Mangrove jack and bream up to 1kg in Kawana Waters Canals. Bream and trevally throughout the lower reaches. Bream, flathead and whiting upstream from McKenzies Bridge. A few quality whiting in Mountain Creek Reach on live worms and yabbies.
Caloundra: Tailor to 3kg from the tip of Bribie and a few choppers in the bar. Good whiting too 700g along Golden beach stretch. Flathead on drifted baits and plastics inside the bar. Trevally and flathead to 62cm from the Boardwalk.

Robert Whiting is over on his annual 6 week holiday from the UK and after a solid weeks fishing he's finally had some luck fishing with live bait just downstream from the motorway bridge with a solid GT.
