Noosa: Dart, whiting and tarwhine along North Shore. Small yellow tail king fish and a few quality bream from the National Park. Flathead and trevally around Munna Bridge. Flathead throughout the lower reaches and a few whiting in the river mouth.
Maroochydore: Blue parrot to 2.5kg and a few snapper to 4kg at the Blinker. School jew and the odd trevally in the middle reaches of the river. Flathead are wide spread throughout the river.
Mooloolaba: Bream to 800g from the Kawana Boat ramp. Bream off the rock walls and moorings. Gar in the basin and around the moorings. Whiting from the beach in the bay at Mooloolaba.
Caloundra: Quality whiting, grunter and flathead along the W’s stretch of the passage. Good quality bream off the boardwalk. Whiting opposite the mouth of Bell’s Creek and along the Golden Beach Stretch.
Paul Anderson and Sam Slack had a session out off Coolum Reef recently using soft plastics and scored a few nice snapper up to 3kg in weight.
