Noosa: School jew and trevally around Munna Bridge.  Luderick and bream along the rock wall in the river mouth. Whiting and flathead in the frying pan and in the entrance to lake Cooroibah.  

Maroochydore: Murphy’s Reef has been producing snapper up to 6kg, pearl perch, parrot and cod. School jew and the odd trevally in the middle reaches of the river. Flathead are wide spread throughout the river at present, with a few fish from 50 to 60cm fish and plenty of under sized fish along the bli bli stretch.  

Mooloolaba: Bream to 800g from the Kawana Boat ramp. Bream and chopper tailor off the rocks at Point Cartwright and in the river mouth. Gar in the basin and around the moorings. Whiting in the canals and in Mountain Creek.

Caloundra: Good quality bream at night off the boardwalk. Flathead in good number throughout the passage particularly in the creek mouths. Whiting opposite the mouth of Bell’s Creek and along the Golden Beach Stretch.
