Noosa: Tailor, dart and bream along the Teewah stretch. Quality luderick around the lower reaches of the river. Giant trevally to 3kg under Munna Bridge and a few nice whiting off Munna Point.  Flathead from the lower river.
 
Maroochydore:  Trevally up to 1.2kg from the motorway bridge pylons. Chopper tailor, school jew to 70cm and flathead to 60cm in the Cod Hole. Flathead from Cotton Tree and along the flats at the Bli Bli channel markers.
 
Mooloolaba: Sweetlip and small snapper from Raper Shoal. Bream, luderick, chopper tailor and squire around the rocks at Point Cartwright. Gar in the basin and around the moorings. Whiting in the canals and mountain creek reach.


Caloundra: Tailor and school mackerel off Moffat head. Garfish and bream off the rocks at Shelly Beach. Trevally around the pylons of pelican waters bridge. Bream at night and luderick during the day off the boardwalk. Flathead at the mouth of Bells Creek.

Chicko Vella and his family were out on Sunshine Reef recently and youngsters Moet and Jett welcomed this 4.8kg 'Knobby' with open arms.
