Noosa: School jew, tailor, dart and bream along the Teewah stretch. Quality luderick around the lower reaches of the river. School jew and trevally around Munna Bridge. Whiting and flathead from the lower river. Maroochydore: Chopper tailor, school jew to 83cm and whiting opposite Eudlo Creek mouth. Trevally up to 1.2kg from the motorway bridge pylons. School jew to 50cm and flathead to 45cm on soft plastics in the Cod Hole. Flathead along the Bli Bli stretch. Mooloolaba: Sweetlip and small snapper from Raper Shoal. Snapper to 5kg on soft plastics at Caloundra 12 mile. Bream and chopper tailor off the rocks at Point Cartwright. Gar in the basin and around the moorings. Whiting in the canals and mountain creek reach. Caloundra: Tailor along Currimundi beach at dusk. Garfish and bream off the rocks at Shelly Beach. Trevally in pelican waters. Bream and luderick during the day off the boardwalk. Flathead and bream in the bar.
 
Bryan Svetnavic was fishing with whole squid on Caloundra 12 Mile reef when this 12kg cod smashed it and after 20 minutes battling the big fish it was boated.
