Noosa: Tuna and spotty mackerel in the Bay and inshore Reefs. Big Whiting and trevally in Woods Bay and the back of the Sound. Flathead to 60cm on soft plastics in Weyba creek. Mud crabs throughout the river.

Maroochydore: This Sunday the Maroochy RSL Fishing Club is having a members sign on and breakfast at Cotton Tree Park from 9am. Whiting and grunter bream between Eudlo Creek mouth and Bli Bli bridge. Good numbers of flathead around 50cm on soft plastic from Picnic Point. Plenty of mud crabs throughout the river system.

Kawana: Before the sloppy conditions Jason Armstrong took a snapper to 5.3kg on Z-Man soft plastics on the dirty water line near the Blinker. Bream and flathead around the boat moorings during the incoming tide. Mud crabs in all the canals and around McKenzie’s bridge.

Caloundra: The Glasshouse Mountain Fishing Club is having its sign on this Sunday at the Glass House Mountain Bowls Club at 9am. Spotty mackerel and tuna from Caloundra nice Mile. Mud crabs throughout the passage and in the creeks in good numbers. A few bream, flathead and grunter from the boardwalk on fresh prawns and mullet strips. Whiting between the mouth of Bells creek and the Power boat club.

Shawn Guy was crabbing in the lower Maroochy River this week and caught several legal bucks up to 850g in weight.
