Noosa: Bream and whiting in the frying pan. Big dusky flathead and few tarwhine along north shore. Mud crabs in Weyba creek and along the Tewantin stretch.

Maroochydore: Quality whiting between Eudlo Creek mouth and Bli Bli bridge. Mud crabs in the canal, up Eudlo Creek, between the cod hole and Bli Bli in the deeper channel. Grunter and bream from the cod hole. Flathead, bream and grunter from Cotton Tree.

Kawana: Big bream around the boat moorings. A few whiting off the beach at Mooloolaba spit. Mud crabs in all the canals and around McKenzie’s bridge.

Caloundra: Mud crabs throughout the passage. A few bream, flathead and grunter from the boardwalk. Golden trevally on the high tide from Military jetty.

Trent was fishing with cured worms from the flats at the entrance to Eudlo Creek when he caught this tray of solid whiting.
