Noosa: Spanish mackerel, Cobia, grassy sweetlip and cod from North Reef. Bream, flathead and mangrove jack to 3kg from Weyba creek. Bream and whiting from the sound on live worms and nippers. Mud crabs around the Lakes.
Maroochydore: Still plenty of whiting around Chambers Island and the river mouth. Bream and flathead to 60cm from the Cod Hole. Flathead and a few school Jewfish in the upper reaches on soft plastics. Mud crabs in the Creeks.
Kawana: Snapper to 3kg and 5kg estuary cod from the blinker. Snapper to 4.6kg and sweetlip to 5.2kg from the Barwon banks at night. Bream, flathead and trevally around McKenzie’s bridge on the high tide. Whiting, dart, bream and flathead from Kawana beach.
Caloundra: Pearl perch, sweetlip, snapper and tusk fish from Caloundra 12 mile. Whiting and flathead on the banks around the mouth of Coochin creek. Bream and whiting from Military Jetty and out from the Power boat club on live nippers. Mud crabs throughout the passage.
