Noosa: Grass sweetlip, mosses perch and Maori cod form Sunshine Reef. Trevally, bream and flathead from Weyba creek. Bream and whiting along Noosaville stretch. Flathead from the mouth on soft plastics.
Maroochydore: Flathead to 70cm in the northern channel. Quality whiting between Chambers Island and the river mouth on the sand banks. Golden and giant trevally from the Cod Hole during the incoming tide. Good numbers of flathead and a few school Jewfish in the upper reaches.
Kawana: Snapper to 3kg and 5kg estuary cod from the blinker. Snapper, pearl perch and yellow fin tuna from the Barwon Banks. Whiting, trevally and bream from La balsa park and the sand basin. Trevally, flathead and bream from the Kawana boat ramp pontoon at night on live herring and pilchards.
Caloundra: Trevally and bream from the Board walk and the entrance to the Canal system. Trevally and bream on surface lures through the canal system during the late afternoon. Flathead on soft plastics throughout Bells creek. Mud crabs throughout the passage.

Andrew is on holidays from NZ and caught this pan sized dusky flathead in the Maroochy River aboard Anglers Advantage charters.
