Noosa: Grass sweetlip, mosses perch and Maori cod form Sunshine Reef. Flathead, whiting, grunter bream and jacks between the lakes. Trevally, Mangrove jack and trevally from Weyba creek and Woods bay at night on live bait. Bream and whiting along Noosaville stretch.
Maroochydore: Quality whiting between Chambers Island and the river mouth on the sand banks. Flathead to 70cm on drifted pillies in the southern and northern channels. Bream and grunter from the cod hole. School Jewfish and the rare catch of a Barramundi in the upper reaches.
Kawana: Snapper, pearl perch and yellow fin tuna from the Barwon Banks. Whiting, trevally and bream from La balsa park. Grunter bream in the upper reaches. Trevally, flathead and bream from the Kawana boat ramp pontoon at night on live herring and pilchards.
Caloundra: Mangrove jack in Bells Creek and Coochin Creek. Trevally and bream from the Board walk and the entrance to the Canal system. Flathead on soft plastics throughout Bells creek. Mud crabs throughout the passage in good numbers.
