Noosa: Snub nose dart, swallow tail dart, dusky flathead and bream from Noosa North Shore and Teewah. Grunter bream along the Tewantin stretch. Flathead bream and whiting between Wood Bays and the bar. Mud crabs between the lakes, in Weyba Creek and the canals.
Maroochydore: Whiting to 39cm from the back of Chambers Island, Minti Street and Cotton Tree. Bream to 35cm in Cornmeal Creek. Flathead in the cod hole. Mud crabs between Bli Bli Island and the mouth of Petrie Creek. Mud crabs from the mouth of Cornmeal Creek.
Kawana: A few Golden trevally and grunter bream on the dirty water line on the last of the making tide from the Mooloolaba Rock Wall. Grunter bream and whiting below McKenzie’s Bridge. Mud crab in the canals and Mountain Creek.
Caloundra: Elbow slapper whiting towards the lower end of Currimundi Lake. Grunter bream between the bar and Bells Creek. Whiting and flathead between Military Jetty and the boardwalk. Mud crabs throughout the passage.
Frank Bartosek was crabbing in the lower Maroochy River when he potted this buck mud crab and 35cm yellow fin bream.
