Noosa: Whiting and bream on live prawns around Gympie terrace and in the frying pan. Mangrove jack, barra and tarpon in Woods Bay. Jacks along Tewantin Reach. Bream, flathead and whiting in Weyba Creek. Mud crabs between the lakes.
Maroochydore: Flathead and whiting from Twin Waters weir on the outgoing tide. Trevally and flathead from the Cod Hole. Good numbers of whiting from Chambers Island and Picnic point on nippers. Mud crabs from the Bli Bli Islands and just above the motorway bridge.
Kawana: Good numbers of tuna in the bay at Mooloolaba. Trevally and bream from La Balsa Park and a few golden trevally from the Mooloolaba boat ramp pontoon. Big bream and trevally at night around the trawlers. Mud crab in the canals and above Bright water reach.
Caloundra: Good numbers of whiting and flathead from Currimundi Lake. Bream between the bar and Bells Creek in the deeper channels. Giant and big eyed trevally in Pelican Waters canal on high tide. Jacks and grunter bream from Coochin creek. Mud crabs in the creeks.
