Noosa: Whiting on live prawns around Gympie terrace and in the frying pan. Mangrove jack, barra and tarpon in Woods Bay. Jacks along Tewantin Reach. Bream, flathead and whiting in Weyba Creek.

Maroochydore: Mangrove jack, jewfish and trevally around Coolum creek on soft plastics and live bait. Golden trevally, flathead and bream from Petrie creek mouth through to the Bli Bli bridge. Flathead and whiting from Cotton Tree. Mud crabs to 1.5kg from the Bli Bli Islands.

Kawana: Good numbers of tuna in the bay at Mooloolaba. Trevally and bream from the Kawana boat ramp pontoon and along La Balsa park. Bream and trevally through the canal system on soft plastics and surface lures. Mud crab in the canals and above Bright water reach.

Caloundra: Good numbers of whiting and flathead from Currimundi Lake on live and cured worms. Bream between the bar and Bells Creek in the deeper channels. Flathead, bream, trevally from Military jetty. Good numbers of flathead throughout the passage on bait and lures. Mud crabs in the creeks.

Tate Keys was fishing in the Maroochy River using mullet for bait when he caught this solid giant trevally.
