Noosa: Spanish mackerel, spotty mackerel, Wahoo, coral trout and Sweetlip from North Reef and Sunshine Reef. Good numbers of large flathead over the maximum size have been caught and released throughout the river system. Mangrove jack from Woods bay and Harbour town.
Maroochydore: An 80cm flathead caught and released off Chambers Island Bridge. Golden trevally, flathead and bream from Petrie creek mouth through to the Bli Bli bridge. Flathead, bream and dart from North Shore and Mudjimba. Mud crabs in the upper reaches.
Kawana: Spotty mackerel in the bay and Spanish mackerel and cobia at Murphy’s Reef and Currimundi reef. Good numbers of Mack tuna and yellow fin tuna just off Mooloolaba. Tarwhine, bream and whiting from Kawana beach Whiting and bream from McKenzie’s bridge. Mud crabs throughout the river system.
Caloundra: Yellow fin tuna, snapper, Spanish mackerel and grassy sweetlip from Caloundra nine mile. Flathead and bream between Shelly beach and the board walk on the top of the tide. Good numbers of flathead throughout the passage on bait and lures. Mud crabs in the creeks.

Hugh and Jason spent the day fishing with Anglers Advantage and landed a double catch of Mack Tuna while spinning lures off Mooloolaba.
